Pietro acts as investment analyst for our strategy dedicated to climate tech investments.

He handles the end-to-end lifecycle for our climate tech deals, covering everything from new materials, energy storage and so much more. Pietro is involved in scouting the best teams, digging into the technical and financial due diligence, and supporting our portfolio companies as they grow.

He began his career in the investment banking division of a leading European bank, where he focused on public bond issuances and sustainable loans. He then joined Oltre Impact as an Investment Analyst, managing private equity transactions from origination through to execution. Subsequently, he deepened his venture capital expertise at Ventive, where he was responsible for deal flow generation and investment execution.

Pietro holds a degree in Finance and a Master’s degree in Management, both from Bocconi University. In his Master’s thesis, he analyzed the evolution of the impact investing sector. Drawing on this academic background and extensive practical experience, Pietro has specialized in the technical and financial aspects of transactions, with a particular focus on evaluating technology companies within the social impact and climate tech sectors.

Outside of work, Pietro is an avid cyclist drawn to rides with 1,000+ meters of incline; he also loves mountaineering and snowboarding. Cats over dogs, beer over wine, sushi over pizza.
