Niccolò is a software engineer and venture capitalist serving as General Partner for our digital strategy and CTO for our firm.

He manages the digital funds’ scouting and investment activities. In addition to leading investments, he holds board positions at several portfolio companies, where he provides technical and operational oversight.

His professional career has been centered on the Italian innovation ecosystem, with previous leadership roles including Head of Dealflow and CTO at dPixel. Within the Primo Capital ecosystem, Niccolò contributed as a coach for the Barcamper initiative, a seed-stage program focused on digital investments in Italy and he also served as an Investment Manager for previous funds.

His work is supported by a technical and business academic background, holding an MBA from Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, an MEng in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Niccolò also contributes to the development of future entrepreneurs as an educator, lecturing on "Startup 101" at Politecnico di Milano. He maintains a weekly analysis of the Italian market through his newsletter, "The Week in Italian Startups."

When he’s not chasing the next big investment, Niccolò is usually being outmaneuvered by his two kids at the craft table or lost in a rabbit hole of tech news on some obscure corner of the internet.
