Matteo is General Partner of our investment strategy dedicated to the space economy where he brings three decades of experience in innovation and technology.

His professional background spans leadership roles in media and entertainment, with a focus on digital transformation within major organizations such as Il Sole 24 Ore and The Walt Disney Company. After the corporate experience he has founded his own startup and has been acting as an active investor for over 20 years. He has managed a diverse portfolio of startups, scale-ups, and SMEs both in Italy and abroad. Among them, he was an early financier and board member of DentalPro, the first Italian dental group. through to its initial exit. He also served on the advisory board of Digital Investments SCA SICAR, the first VC fund dedicated to Italian startups in the digital sector.

Since 2020, he is acting as General Partner of Primo Space, contributing to the development of a portfolio of 19 companies across the upstream and downstream segments of the space industry.

Beyond his investment activities, Matteo is a faculty member of the Master AIFO (Italian Association of Family Offices), where he teaches modules on startups and venture capital. He also provides pro bono mentorship for several international acceleration programs.

He holds a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University.

Outside the office, Matteo is also a rugby enthusiast (3 times winner of the Italian rugby major league), sea lover, and food and wine connoisseur.
