Mara serves as an Investment Associate focused on our digital strategy and as the ESG Leader for all funds managed by Primo Capital. In her dual role, she scouts and supports the growth of digital investment opportunities while spearheading the integration of environmental, social, and governance criteria across the firm’s entire portfolio and internal structure.

Mara brings about 8 years of specialized experience in Venture Capital and fund-of-funds management. Prior to joining Primo Capital, she held roles at CDP Venture Capital SGR and Fondo Italiano d’Investimento SGR. During this time, she was part of the management of three venture capital funds of funds, managing a portfolio of 30 funds and tracking over 400 indirect portfolio companies.

Her academic background is international, featuring a degree in Economics with Management from Edinburgh Napier University and a degree in International Business Administration from the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. She also completed specialized training in Alternative Investments at the London School of Economics.

Outside of the office you may find her diving into a new book, exploring everything from thrillers to contemporary literature, keeping pace with the latest F1 Grand Prix, or indulging in her photography passion around the globe.
