Francesca serves as an Investment Associate at Primo Capital, where she focuses on space economy investments. In her role, she scouts and evaluates early-stage opportunities supporting the investment process from market analysis and due diligence to execution. She is also actively involved in portfolio management, so as to support our companies' growth.

Francesca brings solid experience across Venture Capital, angel investing, and wealth management. Prior to joining Primo Capital, she worked as an Investor at Founders Factory, where she led Fintech and Insurtech investment activities in partnership with Mediobanca and Aviva, managing the full investment process from sourcing to closing. Before that, she spent over four years at Doorway, first as an Investment Analyst and later as Portfolio Manager, overseeing investment execution, supporting portfolio companies in fundraising and strategic initiatives, and contributing to successful exits. Earlier in her career, Francesca worked as an Investment Analyst at PFG Investimenti, a multi-family office, and as a Sales Support Coverage Analyst within Deutsche Bank’s Wealth Management division.

Francesca holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan.

Outside of the office, when she is not looking for new founders, you may find her getting lost among yarn balls and patterns, knitting or crocheting creations she sometimes shares on her dedicated Instagram page. To balance this wonderfully “grandma-style” hobby, she enjoys practicing several sports, especially winter ones. She is also passionate about wine, a passion she tries to balance with healthy recipes.
