
Ezio is a professional with over 25 years of experience in venture capital and sustainability, specializing in the energy transition and digital sectors. He acts as a General Partner of our climate tech investment strategy and as a member of Primo Capital's Board of Directors.
His career includes extensive experience in C-level positions, where he has managed investments, exits, joint ventures, and M&A transactions. He previously served as CFO at Solar Ventures and CIO at Solar Ventures Capital, roles in which he oversaw the strategic allocation of capital within the renewable energy market and ClimateTech. His background also includes tenure as a senior equity analyst in London, where he focused on the utilities and energy sectors and as a Director for Pino Ventures Partners, where he supported the entire investment lifecycle of companies with high growth potential. Beyond these roles, Ezio is an executive manager and investor in energy startups, leveraging an industrial network built over nearly two decades. His expertise in the intersection of business and environmental impact is reflected in his past experience as a professor of entrepreneurship and sustainability at SUMAS. He also serves as a board member for several organizations, providing guidance on governance and growth.
He holds a degree in Economics from Bocconi University, a postgraduate certificate from INSEAD, and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. His technical proficiency in sustainable finance is further supported by an ESG Investing certification from the Politecnico di Milano.
