Andrea serves as General Partner of our Primo Health fund and he sits in the Board of Director of Primo Capital, with a specific mandate for the management of the healthcare investment strategy. 

His professional background integrates clinical expertise with extensive experience in strategic and financial consultancy. After earning a degree in Medicine and Surgery and an MBA from Bocconi University, he began his career in the pharmaceutical industry as a product manager at BootsPLC, later becoming European Business Development Manager for the cosmeceuticals division of Johnson Wax then sold to Johnson & Johnson.

Following a period at a consultancy boutique specialized on the registration of Japanese pharmaceuticals in the European markets, he joined McKinsey as a member of theEuropean pharmaceutical practice, managing projects for several multinational corporations. He subsequently became a co-founder and partner at ValuePartners, where he led strategic projects for companies in the medical devices, pharmaceuticals and private health care providers segments.

Since 2007, he has been a co-founder, alongside Carlo Vanoli, of Medeor Associates, a financial boutique specializing in M&A transactions within the healthcare sector. 

Since 2023, he has worked with Vanoli and Tonelli on the design and launch of the PrimoHealth fund, combining industrial and financial depth to support the growth ofItalian healthcare small and medium companies.
