Noon Care is a technology that defines a system of services that responds to people's needs, including those who are frail. Using an Amazon Echo Show 8 device with Alexa integration, which can be activated by voice with simple commands such as “Alexa, call an operator,” people can contact operators to find out about interesting initiatives planned in their neighborhood, as well as receive useful reminders about appointments, deadlines, and routines to follow. The project is currently being integrated with environmental sensors to predict and intervene in problematic situations, allowing the dedicated operator to take timely action.
