The startup will allow all food entrepreneurs to access flexible and ready-to-use kitchen spaces

The startup Instakitchen (www.instakitchen.it), founded by the two food sector entrepreneurs Andrea Massari and Andrea Cutispoto, has opened its first kitchen coworking in Rome.

The development, supported by the Primo Ventures fund, will allow Instakitchen to provide food entrepreneurs with kitchen spaces compliant with ASL regulations and immediately ready for use, reducing the initial investment by over 80% and the time to market.

“During the pandemic, we saw an opportunity to create a unique and safe space for food entrepreneurs to start, grow, collaborate and manage their business” said Andrea Massari, co-founder of the company.

By offering the possibility to rent spaces of different sizes and in flexible ways, thanks to rental contracts on a daily, monthly or annual basis, Instakitchen supports food sector entrepreneurs of all sizes, looking for locations to test new concepts and scale up their own activities by reducing costs and risks. Instakitchen's clients include not only delivery businesses but also home chefs, caterers, production laboratories, startups, consultancy firms and food influencers.

The kitchen spaces range from 10 to 40m2 and are semi or fully equipped according to the customers' needs, to allow them to compose their own space. The staff then provides technical consultancy for all start-up procedures (SCIA, health notification, HACCP…) and all the main services for starting up (supplier platform, Brand & Marketing consultancy, logistics, warehouse…).

Instakitchen is not only a shared kitchen space, but also a community: by bringing together entrepreneurs in the food sector of various origins and know-how, it aims to enhance small local businesses and allow the growth of an entrepreneurial network in the food sector. The company has in fact planned a series of workshops and events for members, as well as having forged links with partners who can at all levels support client companies in their growth.

Instakitchen is the first concept of its kind in Rome, and new openings are already being planned throughout Italy.

Primo Ventures SGR S.p.A. completed the investment through the Barcamper Ventures and Barcamper Ventures Lazio funds. Barcamper Ventures Lazio is a co-investment fund entirely subscribed by the Lazio Region, through the Fare Venture initiative financed by the European structural funds of the POR FESR 2014/2020, conceived and implemented by Lazio Innova.
